Long before cameras came into existence, artists have rendered the human appearance in its most simple form with the use of basic paper crafting supplies.
My first memory of the silhouette dates back to the early 80’s. I’ll never forget sitting in my 2nd grade classroom with the overhead projector glaring in my face.
I had bangs that started at the crown of my head (Thanks, Mom!) and two long braids tied up with twisted yarn bows.
And that simple silhouette captured it all…
